In the Aaden project, Studio M’s client desired a sophisticated space that provided intimate nooks for refuge. To accommodate, the designer transformed a former exterior space into an interior private hideaway. By replacing an interior-facing window with a custom built-in walnut bookshelf, the space is defined without being closed off. Delivering on the refined masculine aesthetic, stitched leather wallpaper backdrops the bar’s metal cabinets, and the master bedroom boasts rich textures with Fred Astaire charm.
In the end, Missy and her team produce homes that reflect their singular owners. “We want our designs to be an elevated version of our clients,” she concludes.
